What is your favourite part of Celebrity Edge®?

My favourite part was The Club. It offers a progressive, multi purpose space during the day and a place of discovery at night. This transformative space allows you to sit and sip a drink if you’re not dancing but members of your party are, and it’s the first time that a space like this can be well used during the day also. Because it’s multi-level and the ceiling is so high it works well as a cinema and it was fantastic when we saw families challenging themselves to “Laser Maze” in there too.

Best port you've sailed to and why?

Alesund in the Norwegian Fjords. I adored this beautiful Art Nouveau style town. The ship docks in a very convenient location so it's perfect for exploring without having to take long transfers. The Aksla viewing point is absolutely stunning! 418 steps for the brave or a very short ride on the tourist train will give you the opportunity to take stunning photos of the 7 islands that make up Alesund. Make sure to get the ship in the background! Alesund also has one of the largest salt water Aquariums in Europe and it's well worth a visit.

Top cruise tip?

If your revisiting a port that you have already been to, keep your eye out for ship board activities - especially spa treatments! There are great discounts to be had on days when the ship is in port.

What couldn't you travel without in your suitcase?

My phone! From taking photos and videos, to allowing my daughter to entertain herself with games - ideal for a quick quiet 5 minutes in the Ocean View Café at lunch.
