Best port you've sailed to and why?

Juneau, Alaska

This quaint Alaskan city is the gateway to some of the most beautiful scenes of nature on earth. From the capital you are just minutes away from the mountains and glaciers that will take your breath away. In one day you can see whales swimming in the clear lake waters, bears walking through the forests and eagles flying overhead. Juneau is truly a bucket list destination, just remember to have your camera or phones fully charged before stepping off the ship.

Top cruise tip

When in port, take time to immerse yourself into the town or city. Relaxing in a local coffee shop, bar or restaurant, whilst taking in the scenery, is a lovely way to spend half an hour. Often you can get some local knowledge of what to see next or where to go that will truly make the most of your visit.

Do not feel the need to rush back to the ship – there will be plenty of time to discuss your adventures in Café al Bacio later.
